Set in an early 17th c. farm converted into a museum and a library, the whole having been recently renovated.
On the first floor are exhibited permanent collections dedicated to finds from Roman and Merovingian sites located in the Upper-Meuse Valley.
The basement is reserved for temporary exhibitions.
2021 was dedicated to the itinerary exhibition Women in Prehistory, displaying a vast ensemble of replicas of goddesses of fertility selected from all over Europe, from well known to less published specimens, sculpted in various materials and assuming a vast variety of sizes – but all pointing to the same all-important concern: the survival of the species.
