Tumulus in Côte-d'Or
Positional co-ordinates scaled from a map source. 33 Meter diameter tumulus dating to 850 BCE, end of Bronze Age. Excavated in 1953 and found to contain body of princess including 4 wheel war chariot and rich grave goods including greek and Etruscan artifacts. In bend of River Seine, between Vix and Hamlet of Courcelles. All artifacts are in the museum and the tumulus is now completely eroded due to intense farming.
