Polissoirs de Velaine sur Sambre
Polissoirs de Velaine sur Sambre submitted by Alta-Falisa : May 2014. I'll have to return once more to this place. Many large stones are to be found all around in the wood. Only two are really attested polissoirs. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Polissoir in Namur

Two Polissoirs first recognized in 1927.
Access : same as for the "Pierre qui Tourne". From there, 100 m on foot towards the West through an inextricable wood.
Not quite easy to find. Better come in the winter, when the trees have lost their leaves.
The coordinates are approximate (accuracy : 10-20 m). You see the polissoir when you have your nose against it.
