Ancient Dam in Erzincan Province, Turkey
A 7th century BCE Urartian dam on a small tributary of the Euphrates.
"It is proposed that the dam was built to have met the agricultural requirements of the Karakaya Fortress, 2 km to the north, and the Altintepe Fortress, 10 km to the west, both from the Urartu Period."
