Ancient Village or Settlement in Saudi Arabia
Remains of prehistoric lanscape with city, villages, burial mounds, fields, roads, forts, agricultural structures, shrines, ...
One of best preserved prehistoric landscapes.
This is one of several prehistoric centers around Harrat Khaybar. Regarding size and density of burial mounds it must have been a mojor center in the area.
What is now mostly arrid lava field, used to be green and busrting with life some 3000 years ago.
This site should be under UNESCO protection.
