Ancient Village or Settlement in South eastern Turkey in Harran Plain on Border to Syria

Late Pre Pottery Neolithic B settlement site, apparently abandoned when the water supply dried up. Only flintstone and bone tools have been found, thought there were traces of domesticated animals. Excavated betwen 1995 and 2001 by the Deutsches Archäologische Institut.
Site related to the Göbekli Tepe temples further up in the hills to the North.
