Barrow Cemetery in Moscow region of Russia

Курганный могильник Царицыно-1 (Tsaritsyno-1 barrow cemetery) is a group of 5 mounds of XII century at the territory of the English landscape park (built in XVIII-XIX cent.) at the State Museum-Reserve Tsaritsyno in Moscow.

Mounds 1.1 - 1.5m in height are easily to be found on the eastern bank of Tsaritsyno Upper pond just behind Milovida Pavilion if you are walking from the Great Palace.

One barrow was excavated in 1998, no grave goods except one ceramic pot were found in the partly-robbed burial.

Restored in 2007.
