Barrow Cemetery in Russia
Old Russian barrow cemetery of XII-XII century at Troparevskiy Park in Moscow. Consists of 23 mounds of 0.4-1.5 m in height and 5-14 m in diameter, several of which are encircled with ditches.
Most of the barrows are damaged and there are some WWII trenches located in the area.
Two mounds situated in 60 m to the North-West of the main group and probably form independent site.
A small settlement of the same time, Kon'kovo-2, with a definitely related cemetery, was found in 140 m to the South.
