Rock Art in Russia

Hundreds or even thousands of examples of rock art, on bare ground along 20 km of the eastern shore of Lake Onega, the second largest lake in Europe. Onega is in Karelia, formerly part of Finland, now in Russia.

There are ferry trips around the lake's tourist sites in the summer months, including to some of the more easily accessible rock art sites.
