Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Palestine

Ancient well associated with Jacob by oral tradition and by a mention in the bible. Jesus "came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the field which Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Jacob's Well was there"

The well is now within an Eastern Orthodox monastery in the town of Nablus, and is, at least in theory, accessible to visitors.
