Chambered Tomb in Upper Egypt

18th Dynasty rock cut tomb. 196 Meter Altitude. It is alleged that High Priest Aye murdered Tutankhamun, but this has not been proved at this. Aye only lived two more years before being replaced by Horemheb. The chamber is decorated with relatively intact frescoes but there was no time to finish the passage. The sarcophagus also needed to be restored from broken fragments.
