Nubt
Nubt submitted by AlexHunger : Site in Upper Egypt: Naqada era pre-dynastic Basalt statue of bearded man. Also known as MacGregor man, on account of the Donor. The statue is unusual on account of the beard, which was rarely depicted on Egyptians. The Nubt / Naqada Region was one of the largest settlements in pre-dynastic (Pre 3400 BCE) Egypt (Vote or comment on this photo)
Ancient Temple in Upper Egypt (South)

The prehistoric town was known as Nubt. Seth, the Egyptian god of disorder, had his cult center at Naqada, which was called Ombos by the Greeks.
