Almost 150 Hypogeum has been discovered in the South of Marne departement. Only 10 were decorated with Neolithic idol or carved axe head.
This one is not carved but it is easy to access since it has been re-discovered in 2013. The hypogeum was transformed during the 19 century to make a shelter for local hunters. By the window, another hypogeum can be visible.
The area is surrounded by an archaeological area to protect a flint mine.
