Museum in Hainaut

The site, which occupies a vast area, presents replica of prehistoric, proto-historic and Gallo-Roman houses.
The reconstructions are based on excavations conducted in the region.
So far, the eras illustrated are the Neolithic (5th millennium B.C.), the Bronze Age and both Iron Ages (750 B.C.). In addition, various workshops have been recreated : cutting fire-stone, a corn loft, a potter’s workshop, a workshop for casting bronze and a smithy.
The tour also includes a gallo-roman farm, temple, cemetery and, most interesting : a pavillon exhibiting the state of knowledge about the Celtic cults.
Live reenactment are organised every Sunday and Holy days afternoon from mid-April to mid-October.

The coordinates given are the ones of the entrance. Car park provided.
