Allée couverte in La Marne

Beautiful Allee Couverte in the the woods beyond the river. An artistic metal sign on the entrance of the woods tells you were to go. The remains of the tumulus are about 5 Meters in diameter and about 2.5 meters tall. The chamber is 1 Meter wide, 1.4 Meters tall and 4 meters long. A localy published pamflet claims there are carvings of 2 stags on the inside of one of the 7 uprights. You need to bring a flashlight to be able to see it. There are 3 slabs covering it. The back stone is still visible fromt he outside. 161 Meters Altitude.
