Holed Stone in Lithuania
A stone with a bowl.
Exhibited in the front garden of the Ceramic museum of Leliūnai (alas closed on Mondays).
These stones are rather frequent in the North of Lithuania and South-West of Latvia (as far as I have collected evidence).
Linguistic information : Kilėviškių is the gerond form of Kilėviškiai, the name of a spot (about 6 km to the North of Leliūnai) where this stone with bowl has been found. Leliūnų is the gerond of Leliūnai. Akmuo = stone ; su dubeniu = with bowl. You know it all.
The Roman suffix II is meant to distinguish the stone from another similar one, exhibited next to it but with a different origin.
