Marathon Museum
Marathon Museum submitted by AlexHunger : Pleasant and Modern air Conditioned museum next to Tumulus of the Plaeans and the Vranas Middle helladic Tombs with interesting artifacts from various sites in Marathon. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Museum in Attica

Very pleasant and air conditioned recently built €15 million museum, probably just in time for the 2004 CE Olympics.
The museum is also the site for the Tumulus of the Plataeans and the Vranas Middle Helladic Graves and also contains the original remains of the Trophy of the Athenians as well as the original statues from the Sanctuary of the Egyptians.
