A recently discovered (scheduled in 2017) early medieval barrow cemetery is located in a dense forest south of the village of Podzamcze. It consists of some 45 burial mounds of 5-15m diameter and up to 1.5m height. They are clustered forming an elongated N-S oriented cemetery. The barrows are dated for the 9th century (Tribal period).
