Djupvika sacrificial site

This is three natural rock outcrops that looks like heads looking out to the sea. They are flat on top, and could also have worked as "altars" for the rituals.

The site is very interesting itself, because the stones look as if they have been placed there by humans, but are natural-shaped stones.

They were used as stone-idols for the sami gods, that had their sacrificial sites at this site. The site is nearby two other sacrificial sites, at Slottsberget and Kviby, and is a very important place for the local Sami people.
