Standing Stones in Hungary

In Hungary very few menhirs, rather called stele were found. Around 2000, during farming, 40 cm deep in the soil, a big stone was found and excavated with a tractor. The stone was placed in a ditch and forget for years. In 2008 the stone was documented: greenish, half-hard, 110-112 cm tall, 48-55 cm wide, with a flat surface of 25-44 cm with carvings. Its original place was located in a 50 m radius circle, not so far from a city called Kevermes in a plough-land (my map calculation: 46.440427 and 21.160229).
Around the stone, Sarmatian dishes were found. This field now called Kevermes-Kopolya-dűlő II. The stone was examined in detailed and placed in Munkácsy Múzeum, Békéscsaba, Hungary.
The Sarmatians were a large confederation of ancient Eastern Iranian equestrian nomadic peoples of classical antiquity who dominated the Pontic steppe from about 3rd century BC to the 4th century AD.
Upon to examinations the stone and the carvings are not fake. The nearist place of this type of stones is 70 km far in the Zarándi Mountains, Village Cladova, Romania. It seems that the stone was placed in his secondary place between the 2nd and 4th centuries, in the Sarmata era.
The closest of the stone’s carving motives are ones in Bretagne, GRAVNISIS megalithic tomb, especially stone 24. (L6), maybe 90% similarity. Not only all the motives can be seen at the same time but its relative places are surprisingly same. In the same complexity it is very rare (Newgrange).
As the GRAVNISIS stones composition is different, its origin is surely not from there.
The date of the carvings is difficult to determine. However upon to Gavrinis carvings, it dates around 4000 BC. It is possible that the stone was used to burial ceremonies in a Yamnaya kurgan and was removed from there to its secondary place by Sarmatians.
