A large Tribal period hillfort is located south of the village of Jadowniki Podgórne, on a hill called Bocheniec. Interior of the fort is currently occupied by houses and a 16th century St. Anne’s Church, but most of the earthworks survived in good condition. The strongest defences are present in the western part of the fort where three lines of ramparts can be distinguished. Internal dimensions of the fort are 200 x 125 m. East of the hillfort there was a settlement, likewise enclosed with a rampart.
