Standing Stone (Menhir) in Auvergne:Puy-de-Dôme (63)
These monoliths made of granite with small grains were christianized by the implantation of a third stone surmounted by an iron cross. This double menhir was erected at the top of the tumulus known as "Butte de Chancet", 250 meters north of the village of Monges.
