From ocdolmen "The menhirs of "Les Deux Soeurs" (the Two Sisters) are standing along the road at the entrance of the town of Lacabarède.

The jagged one (eastern stone, 1.7 tons) is menhir number 1 and the rounded one (western stone, also 1.7 tons) is number 2. They are separated by a concrete calvary with an iron cross.

2 legends exist: the first says that menhirs mark the place of a Gallic temple dedicated to the Celtic god Hérus; second legend says that the day when the two menhirs (which are at a distance of 2 meters of each other one) are reunited, it will be the end of the world.
