Place de la Concorde Obelisk
Place de la Concorde Obelisk submitted by AlexHunger : Place de la Concorde Obelisk Taken from Egypt and placed in the center of Paris. It originaly stood in front of the temple of Luxor, where its twin remains. Similar to Cleopatra's needle in London, there are more captured obelisks of this kind in Central Park New York or Rome etc. It received a Gold cap on the Pyramidon tip for the year 2000.
