Annelund Gravfält is a burial ground that was in use from around 2000 BC at the end of the Neolithic era through to 200 AD in the Iron Age. Most of the burials date from 500 BC towards the end of Gotland's Bronze Age period. The sites are generally between 2 metres to 18 metres in diameter and from 0.2 metres to 1.2 metres in height. There are approximately 400 graves here and an on going programme of excavations over decades has revealed costume broooches, belt buckles, bronze and iron jewellery and earthenware pots. Interestingly some of the graves are laid out with rock patterns, although being almost flat to the ground this is sometimes hard to see, especially when the grass is long. The site is directly opposite Visby Airport terminal building. Park in the car park in front of the terminal and the site is just across the car park from the terminal.
