The wall is destroyed completely by logging, new pine trees and the new road! U only see the remains on the side of the road! Why did nz government destroy the wall completely?

Thought I'd share this link with you. Its from 2008 and examines the Maori archaeological digs in Waipoua Forest, New Zealand. Some strange goings on and what seem to be hidden secrets of the first people to inhabit the country. http://www.kaimaiview.co.nz/an_unpalatable_truth.htm

"... there is no sinister ‘establishment’ that acts to enforce a single viewpoint about New Zealand prehistory and repress the views of people like Doutre. Scholars are divided on all manner of questions concerning our past. The difference between them and pseudo-scholars like Doutre is that they base their reasoning on the evidence available, and not on wild conspiracy theories."

"Any large-scale settlement of these islands would likely be accompanied by the destruction of a considerable amount of forest by fires, and scientists can discover the date at which this sort of destruction began by testing pollen spores preserved in the sediment of lakes. Tests do not indicate any man-made destruction of the forests began until less than one thousand years ago, so the claims in your article about mass settlement occurring five thousand years ago look rather unlikely."

From No to Nazi Pseudo-history: an Open Letter.

Don't listen to the Nazis, Sunny.

The joys of the internet, always two opposing sides to everything. However, stating an opposing claim by doing a character assassination on the authors before you get around to their points isn't a good tactic IMO. It's ad hominem at its worst and that's the reason it's now no longer acceptable in the forums, it kills debate and detracts from the main issues. It's very common online, but not a tactic I find convincing. You ought to be able to refute someone's argument without resorting to that. If you can't, then your credibility goes down a long way in my estimation.
In the comments below the article, - which are well worth reading - that's the first thing Doutré has picked up on, "Predictably, sociologist Scott Hamilton has evaded the real issues raised in the E-Local Magazine series of articles and has opted instead to “shoot the messengers”. His emotive, vitriolic diatribe homes in on me personally and he tries to convince the public that I’m nothing but a conspiracy nut working in cahoots with people he deems to be social misfits, Nazis or “unapproved” historians worthy of contempt … whatever-whoever."

In short, Sunny, don't accept anything at face value. Be objective and if someone's first argument is that their opponent is a an 'undesirable' member of society therefore should be discredited because of that, rather than their argument being about the points the other person has raised, ask yourself why they need to do that.
'Don't listen to him because he is a...' is a lot different to 'Don't listen to him because he's wrong on these counts...

It's a fact that this revisionist pre-Maori "theory" has been eagerly taken up by the racist white-supremacist movement in NZ in order to disenfranchise the native peoples by questioning the legitimacy of their right of ownership.

It's also a fact that absolutely no evidence has been found to confirm that the Maori were not the first settlers in NZ, actually the evidence points to exactly the opposite (e.g. DNA and pollen analysis).

It's worth reading this discussion (surprisingly!) on the New Zealand Conservative website. Here's a snippet:
"I suppose no one is forcing you or anyone else to believe archaeologists or the current consensus, but it just seems really weird to me that people will choose to believe an untrained guy who doesn't even understand the basics of archaeology, or early, outdated and since proven false hypotheses put forward by one or two historians, over the unanimous support of the current consensus by people trained in archaeology and related fields." Hear, hear.

And this article on the New Zealand Archaeological Association Website.

I'll just reiterate - please don't listen to the Nazis, they have their own despicable agenda.

what i see in your comment is nothing but intellectual arrogance and hubris, and playing the racist meme shows how objective your position is. your so called "trained experts" are programmed to view history inside a defined and rigid paradigm that allows no questioning , whole careers and publications university courses are based on a very narrow interpretation of history, so it is difficult or impossible for people such as yourself (experts) to accept any other assessment or conclusions. your assumption that evidence of habitation is widespread burning of forests is just that, an assumption. not all cultures burn or destroy their environment with their presence. this rigid interpretation of history that brooks no examination or questioning outside your paradigm and vilification of those who see the past in a different light is why people have no trust in your interpretation of history, especially if it is linked with a "nulla terris" position by early and current maori .there are reputable and highly experienced archaeologists and historians who have a different interpretation of evidence and documented data. your position supports the current social engineering agenda this nation is being subjected to. what i see expressed in your opinions is a high degree of cognitive dissonance determined by the mass formation psychosis that is being directed at all people. a further indicator of your subjectivity is that you LABEL anyone who does not agree with you as a NAZI, i qualify this as a form of hate speech, and does not allow for discussion or a review of what is true or not. excuse me for being a little personal but you are a programmed patsy for a deeper agenda, there is a phrase i have heard " that the majority of right thinking people are wrong.'following your posts and the underlying rigidity of thinking i think you fall into that category. your career and standing in your circles no doubt depend on you not questioning the narrative you have been programmed with, so i understand you wanting to run with the herd and not being subjected to the kind of abuse that you direct towards those folk who do not agree with you. so, how can we respect what you say? YOUR rigid agenda is despicable. you are obviously reasonably intelligent or you would not think of yourself as a trained expert so use your intellect to review all you know, talk to the people who you look down your nose at,
they have important information to share with you that might free you from the constraints of your programming. peace to you.

Long detailed reply fritzed into the ether, so here's the short version.
Ignoring the racist slant, have there actually been any of those red-haired 'Celtic' skeletons or bones found in NZ?

There were some found in China and that doesn't seem to have caused them any problems, despite all historical and anecdotal accounts being dismissed by the establishment until the actual mummies were discovered. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarim_mummies
Many legends around the world refer to red haired giants, are there any of these told in NZ?

There's no evidence because any skeletons or bones have to be handed over to the local 'iwi' for cultural reasons. And any land that may contain remnants of any civilization other than maori is slapped with a bullsh*t 'tapu' preventing access. What a shame. One day the bones will show the maoris up for who they really are - not Tangata whenua.

I live in New Zealand. It's all in plain sight, and obvious that a far superior race than the maoris occupied this land well before them. Most proof still lies under ash from the great Taupo explosion.

There are too many maori land claims and 100's of millions of dollars of payouts at stake here for any real, unbiased archaeological work to be allowed to be undertaken. The truth will come out.

Aww.. THATS why.. i always wondered WHY ARNT WE AMAZED when nz finds new evidence dating further back than we know already... I saw on nz celtic site in the references they have SO much more info about this, even the agreement with kaikohe district council, Auckland archaeology and any closest iwi to any find site to suppress any findings or even records of findings for 80years! Dated and signed in the early 90s. What about Zealander?? the underwater landmass was officially recognised in 2017 but wasnt even on the news, its a land as big as aussi that we are just the tip poking out of the water and living on called NEW ZEALAND. but they arnt even interested to go down and find fossils or anything to know more :(
