Modern Stone Circles in Hokkaidō

The most extravagant and delightful cemetery in Japan (and maybe in the world?).
At the entrance to the cemetery, numerous Moai's welcome the visitors, and beside them, a great Buddha and a stonehenge are situated. They may be an exposition of the skills of the gravestone masons who have dealing with the cemetery.
Please do not worry, there is nothing to profane Christianity nor Islam.

Additional description “Buddha and Stonehenge divorced”: The replica Stonehenge was removed (might be crashed into new tombstones in the cemetery) and a new, more precise, replica was constructed in a distant place. Then the great Buddha stature was sunken into a grandeur semi-underground dome covered with lavender flowers in 2016. The dome was designed by Tadao ANDŌ to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the cemetery. From outside of the dome, the top of his head can be seen. Official site in English
