Ancient Mine, Quarry or other Industry in Honshū

A "haniwa" pottery manufacturing site, like http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=38365 site, the ruins of the mine of clay and the kilns are indicated by the shrubberies, once the residences were reconstructed with thatch and timbers but now rotten away.
