The area Grøttingsvollen in Vestpollen Lofoten has several small burial cairns. The cairns are in two groups, one northern consisting of 3 cairns, the other just 20 metres to the south consists of 5 cairns.
The area doesn't have much vegetation except moss and short grass but even with the low vegetation some of the smaller cairns can be difficult to see. A footpath leads from a small local road to the cemetery.
One cairn is constructed around a big stone boulder with a diameter of 3 metres. The cairn extends 2 metres around the boulder but most of the stones have been removed and scattered around making the original shape very difficult to see. The clearest cairn in this area just to the east of the boulder is a 11 metre wide and 1 metre high cairn with a typical crater in the middle.
One cairn on the southern group is 11 metres in diameter and 70cm in height. A small stone fence crosses over the cairn and probably built of stones from the cairn. The rest of the cairns in the cemetery are small, from 2 to 5 metres in height and most are totally overgrown with moss and they can be very difficult to make out.
