Hillfort in Bohemia

Prehistoric hillfort situated on the small hill called Přerovská Hůra (Hůra can be simply translated as a Hill). Though the hill itself is not the highest one, together with its neighbour Semická Hůrka dominates the fertile lowlands of the river Labe (Elbe) in central Bohemia. A fortification on the top was built during the Iron Age and was used by the Celts and early Slavs. The settlement and the fortification was not archaeologically uncovered.
