One of the largest but also unfortunately one of the most damaged barrow cemeteries in Bohemia region at all. Prehistoric nekropolis was used from Hallstatt till early medieval period.
Biggest mounds are the oldest ones. Up to 2 metres height and diameter of 14m. At least eight barrows have been archaeologically examined. One contained a stone burial chamber beneath an earthen embankment.
Archeological findings included ceramic vessels, spearheads, earrings and more. But most important was an early La Tene bronze sword with decorated scabbard from the 5th century BC which has analogies only in the French Galic environment.
