Although this stone is really interesting and beautiful, is almost unknown, despite it stands in the most heart of the Prague.
190 cm tall and 85 cm wide piece of hard sandstone with remarkable ferriferous veins is completely obscured with dense bushes. Obviously cutted to its "menhir shape", this flat stone was walled to a base of the terrace in front of Czernin palace in the 20s of last century. But its former history remains one big mystery. Prague's stone has dozen smaller companions.
Special thanks to RNDr. Václav CÃlek, CSc. and his amazing book Kameny a hvÄ›zdy (Stones and stars) were the Prague's stone is mentioned.
