Cave or Rock Shelter in Bohemia
Massive limestone rock with the distinctive cave window above the historical areal of amazing Svatý Jan pod Skalou situated in the northern part of the Czech Karst protected area.
There are several caves around the summit with the evidences of settlement from late Bronze Age and Hallstatt period.
High-located prehistoric partially fortified hillfort used to be on the top also. But but there are no evidences connecting hillfort with the caves settlement.
