Cave in Honshū
You can reach the cave by a walk of around two hundred meters. In front of the cave is a terrace of around 80 square meters. The entrance to the cave is 1.5 m broad and the inner area7 meters in diameter.
During excavation they found a lot of stone tools from the transit phase between old stone age and the incipiant Jomon phase. Also very early ceramics from this time between 10000 and 8000 B.C. were found in great numbers. ( Japan and China have the oldest known ceramics). Sorry for not having a foto of the cave. There is just one on Google street view.
