Yma-no-Ue Kofun submitted by Aska : Site in Japan The tumulus and the shelter (Vote or comment on this photo)
Round Barrow(s) in

A rare example of a round tumulus with an epitaph stone. The epitaph stone is now placed in a shelter built beside the tumulus.

The place name "Yamana-machi" means ''inscription-on-the-hill town'. Nowadays, the epitaph stone is believed as an addition of later period.
