Chambered Cairn in Japan
There are several tumuli on the slope of Mt. Yumura-yama (湯村山). 5 of them on the east side slope are chambered cairns. Cairn no.1 lies beside the rambling path from the gymnasium to hilltop ruin of Yumurayama-jō (湯村山城) castle. Signposted.
Other 4 cairns lie beyond the dead-end of car road from the southern foot to halfway up the mountain. Only cairn no.3 can be recognized as a chambered cairn, others are almost demolished. Not signposted.
