Modern Stone Circle / Monolith in Honshū

One of a branch temple of the famous pilgrimage temple Zenkō-ji (善光寺) in Nagano prefecture, although "Shin" means 'new' but this branch temple was established in the 13th century. The temple has a dry landscape garden with numerous stones and the long distance view of the mountains outside also construct the total composition of the garden.

Admission free (donation welcomed), an accommodation facility attached.
