Pyramid in Honshū
One of 3 famous Buddhist pyramids in Japan along with Dotō and Kumayama-iseki.
It is a 7 layer pagoda made of earth and stone blocks. 28 stone Buddhist Images were found in its sides, 44 images are supposed to have been installed originally.
The gate is locked, ask the reception of Hotel Wellness Askaji or Mr.Nakamura in the opposite house to unlock. Admission 200 Japanese Yen, open 9:00-17:00.
