Stone Row / Alignment in Pacific Islands

A row of large Rai stones (ancient "stone money" of the Yap culture) . The Rai stones consists of large stone disks with a hole in the centre, the largest ones have a diameter of 4 meters. The chieftains of the Yap tribes used this stone disks for the representation of their power. The stone disks could be found in various places on the island of Yap.

I lived on YAP (WA'AB) for 3 years.. The stone money is Rai not Vai. Rai is also used in land purchases and other official transactions. It is rarely moved as the owners and family know where it is and what it's worth.
Otherwise, accurate!
