Passage Grave in Västergötland

Karleby 35:1 is a passgae grave set in a mound 13 metres by 12 metres and 1.7 metres high. This mound covers the chamber and passage although 3 chamber capstones and 2 passage capstones are visible on the mound. It looks to be an intact passage grave still covered by its mound, although ploughing has probably reduced the size of the mound over time. The site is located at the southern end of the road through Karleby approximately 800 metres south of Karleby church. It is situated in a field 70 metres west of the Karleby road, some 250 metres before the junction with highway 47.
