Standing Stone (Menhir) in Bohemia
There are records that several monoliths used to stay on the field next to the village of Železná. As many others unfortunately, these stones were chopped down or totally destroyed as a reason of farming activity in past. One of these monoliths was found and luckily saved by local volunteers. The stone was moved about 500m from its origin location and newly erected in the year 2009 in the centre of the village. With its 263cm it is truly impressive and beautiful menhir!
