Fountain of St. Barbara
Fountain of St. Barbara submitted by ladrin : Fountain and the chapel dedicated to St. Barbara in the forest "V Lipi". (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well in Bohemia

Strong spring of fresh water in the forest called "v Lipi" (can be translated as a "In Basswoods") north of the Nebílov village. A small chapel dedicated to St. Barbara was built in the 19th century just above the spring.

The water from the well has allegedly healing power, in any case it is very popular with locals. People coming here in large numbers to fill their bottles. The place is well signposted and the explanatory information board is there.
