kengelma visited on 6th Oct 2011 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 2 Access: 1 It may be a cool place someday--it looks like someone was putting money into the site before the earthquake in the area. Currently, the site seems to be fenced off and inaccessible (no opening hours). It is difficult to find--completely unmarked. Head toward the area where they have relocated residents after the earthquake--the little housing development. You need to turn left right after the railroad tracks near the "Colorifico Dagostini" building.

Fossa Standing Stones
Fossa Standing Stones submitted by kengelma : View through the fence at Fossa. You can see that they are building walkways among the stones. I suspect that a lot of damage happened during the 2009 earthquake near L'Aquila. (Vote or comment on this photo)
