Mali Sveti Andeo
Mali Sveti Andeo submitted by AlexHunger : Mali Sveti Andeo or translated as Small Saint Angel Hill, site of Croatia's only stone circle. It is also thought to be the remains of a Bronze age Tholos. This is a view from from Veliki Sveti Andeo, the neighbouring Hillfort dominating it. There is a relatively large plateau surounding it, which may have been in use in view of the large number of large stone block scattered on it. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Mali Sveti Andeo
Mali Sveti Andeo submitted by AlexHunger : Mali Sveti Andeo Small Saint Angel Hill Bronze Age Stone Circle. The only stone circle known in Croatia. It is thought that it might have been a tholos made out of large blocks, originaly rising muche higher on this gentle plateau, with perhaps a roof. There are some large loose blocks nearby and the venetians quarried the nearby fort, so it is possible that blocks might have gone missing... (Vote or comment on this photo)
