Chambered Cairn in Kyūshū
This is the only 1 surviving cairn tomb, pile of coral lime-stones, in Amami-Ōshima island. Once there were several ones on the island but the others were modified into a concrete dome and then re-modified into the modern charnel houses or varnished. In Toku-no-shima island, Yoro-jima (与路島 not Yoron-jima) and Kodakara-jima (小宝島) islands there still exist cairn tombs.
