Round Barrow(s) in South Korea
Attributed to the army general Gim Yusin (the descendent of a Gaya kingdom and the brave soldier of Silla Kingdon, 595-673AD, the most beloved Korean hero). Surrounded by the tablets of men in casual wears with the heads of Chinese zodiac animals and weapons, this type, not armed, might be the oldest one along with King Heondeog's one. The other 12 talc stone tablets of the armed men with Chinese zodiac animal heads were excavated from the ground around the mound, now preserved in Gyeongju Nationa Museum.
Open all year long, 8:30-18:30. Admission 1000 Korean Won.
