Ancient Temple in South Korea
In Imha-dong village there stand 4 stone pagodas. The westernmost and smallest 3-storied (top layer lost) one in a paddy field, only accessible in off (dry) season, has reliefs of 12 Chinese zodiac animal-headed men on the 1st basement layer and that of Buddhist images on the 2nd basement layer. The former are almost worn out and the half of the latter were lost.
Once there was another pagoda with the reliefs of animal-headed men also in neighbouring Geomso-dong (금소동 琴韶洞) village, unfortunately it was stolen recently.
