Standing Stone (Menhir) in South Korea
In a vast vacant lot sandwiched by the 2 roads, at the Y shaped crossroad of the roads there stands a huge menhir which seems not a monolith but a pile of rocks.
The name of the village 'Ipseong-ni (Ipseok-ri)' where this pillar stands means 'standing stone village' and there is station of the same name (now the railroad is out of service).
