Sculptured Stone in Bohemia. Two discreet Romanesque figural reliefs walled in the southern side of the Saint Giles church in the tiny village of Kostelní. The church itself is the oldest church of the region. Though the exact date of establishment is uknown, accordin the name of the settlement "Kostelní", which can be simply translated as a "Church", can be assumed that the building stood yet before the year of 1185.

Two relief stones originally adorned the portal of the old Romanesque church, before it was rebuilt in baroque style in 17th century. They were inspired by the artistic environment of Regensburg most probably. The left stone is known as "A man fighting dragon" and the second one as "A man with a scroll". The original stones were transfered to rte regional museum in Sokolov and replaced with copies in sixties of the last century. The whole building is the National cultural monument.
