Vysoký kámen (can be easily translated as a "High Rock") is a protected natural monument since 1974 and also European Special Area of Conservation. Situated on the mountain of altitude 774m about 500m from the Bavarian border, this unusual rock outcrop always tempted peoples fantasy.
The rock has strong apearance of some mighty castle. Many folks legends are related to this area. They talks about malicious knight forever imprisoned inside the mountain guarding stolen treasures, about good ghost of a White lady about dwarves, mossy women and another spooky creatures. Definitely worth a visit..
